Biography

Greg first became interested in photography in high school. Using his father's camera as an avenue for adventure, he would climb trees, railroad bridges, and even electrical towers as an exciting way to take pictures.

During his senior year in college, the yearbook editor desperately needed another photographer. This was when Greg discovered his passion for photography.

Within six months, he received a promotion to public relations photographer and soon became published in most of the local print media. After becoming intrigued by photographic art, he then moved to Fort Wayne Indiana, the hub of a large art fair region.

Greg soon establish a trademark style that opened doors to the nations best shows and highest awards in the top 10 national art competitions. His art is considered master level photography by Disney and he has sold his art internationally.

Greg’s wedding photography aims to tell the complete story - from the preparations at the beginning of the day until the couple leave the reception, all the while capturing the emotion, expressions, and those small details that may be missed or forgotten in time.

Using modern lighting and posing techniques Greg’s unconventional portraits carry an essence of fashion photography. Taking Engagement and Bridal portraits prior to the wedding day is currently very popular. In this way Greg is able to spend over an hour of quality time with each bride and/or couple and photograph them in a variety of beautiful settings without the pressure of the wedding day. With the infusion of Greg’s artistic sense, this makes for stunning imagery. And now Greg is excited to bring these features of his ‘wedding package’ to the British and European market.

He also feels challenged to use his photography to help document the plight of the needy. He has done fieldwork on the Kenya/Tanzania border photographing Maasai children and has documented the Serbian efforts to rebuild lives after the fall of socialism. Currently Greg is working on images for a book on the effects of homelessness on children in America. Click the ‘more’ link for examples of his photojournalism.

Whether photographing art, businesses, children, portraits, or weddings, Greg maintains the same passion and approach as in those early years of climbing bridges and electric towers, doing what it takes to get a unique shot. When not on location he enjoys trying to keep up with his active boys (aged 5,3 and 2), international travel, and quality time with his extended British family.
